Don’t add the pounds over Christmas.

We all use Christmas as an excuse to eat junk and get drunk, even though Christmas is only 3 days of the year its seems to last into the new year. That’s 9 days wasted and adding the pounds. We are not saying you cant enjoy your Christmas just pace yourself, brake the days down to which you can eat your chocolate and your Christmas puddings etc. Drink loads of water over the holidays to make sure you flush the body through. Below are a few tips for Christmas time.

Make sure you drink water

Try to stick to healthy foods, lets not stuff our faces just because it’s Christmas and we think it ok to. E.g. Stick to your meats and potatoes, vegetables, that’s not a bad meal, it the crisps, nuts and chocolate we pick during the day that add the pounds. Just limit them!

When having a drink, have one with your meal or when your having a sing song in the evening, lets not think its ok to drink through the day, alcohol makes you tired and can also embarrassing you in front of your family and friends, remember its a happy holiday not a hangover one.

Carry on at the gym until Christmas eve, make that space for your Christmas dinner and rest for two days and back down there on the 27th to burn of those pounds, carry on your gym routine up till new years eve, have your celebrations then back to your normal routine.

We cant write you a work out for Christmas, as we believe you have to enjoy your holidays when they come around, are aims is to help you stay on track over the Christmas Holidays and New Year as we all no how easy it is to go back to old habits.
